DIRECTOR CLUSTER INNOVATION CENTRE, DELHI UNIVERSITY DELIVERED A SPECIAL LECTURE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR

Prof. Shobha Bagai, Director Cluster Innovation Centre, Delhi University, delivered a special lecture on September 5, 2023 at 3.30 PM in the Seminar Hall of the Department. She underlined the importance and applications of mathematics amongst students to generate innovative ideas for better tomorrow. She also discussed various opportunities for the students in the field of mathematics. Various electronic gadgets can be used to improve skills, if used properly, she further added. The students interacted with speaker and raised various issues relevant to their fields. The lecture was attended by the MA/M.Sc. Mathematics students and research scholars of the department.

HOD, Mathematics, Prof. MA Khanday introduced the speaker and while welcoming her in the Department said that students should make themselves self reliant and also stressed that one should think as a job provider rather than a job seeker. He advised the students to explore possibilities to showcase their talent and learn skills to make their life comfortable in the current scientific era.
